Overview

Cresset is seeking a proactive and technically skilled Associate, Software Integration Engineer to help integrate OpenAI's ChatGPT and other AI technologies into our firm's suite of business platforms. You'll work within a dynamic wealth management firm that is embracing intelligent automation to enhance decision-making, operational efficiency, and client service. In this hands-on role, you'll build and maintain custom integrations between ChatGPT and business platforms such as Snowflake, Box, Salesforce, and other internal tools. You will also collaborate with stakeholders across business and technology teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.

Responsibilities Include:

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations between ChatGPT and enterprise platforms including Snowflake, Box, Salesforce, and others.
• Utilize RESTful APIs and Python to implement and support integration workflows including Agentic AI solutions.
• Rapidly prototype and iterate on solutions in a self-directed and agile manner.
• Work closely with business users and technical teams to gather requirements and ensure smooth integration of AI capabilities.
• Write clear, maintainable code and documentation to support integration logic and data workflows.
• Monitor, debug, and improve performance of integrations in production environments.
• Stay informed on AI/LLM technologies and contribute ideas for further leveraging ChatGPT across the business.

Qualifications:

• 2–4 years of professional experience as a software developer or integration engineer.
• Proficiency in Python and experience working with REST APIs.
• Strong familiarity with system integration design patterns.
• Comfortable working independently and capable of quickly learning new systems and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues across systems.
• Experience or interest in AI-driven development tools or code generation using LLMs (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT).
• Understanding of authentication protocols such as OAuth 2.0 and API security best practices.
• Well-developed communication and effective collaboration skills

Additional Skills:

• Experience with OpenAI's APIs and Cookbooks or other LLM/AI platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud-based business platforms such as Salesforce, Box, and Snowflake.
• Familiarity with workflow automation tools or integration platforms (e.g., Zapier, Mulesoft, Workato).
• Familiarity with data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, dbt).
• Knowledge of data privacy and security considerations, particularly in financial services.
• Exposure to version control tools (e.g., Git) and CI/CD practices.

What We Offer:

At Cresset, we focus on people first. As a service business, our people are our assets. Engaging our clients and employees is our highest priority. Starting base salary range: $100,000 - $150,000. Salary will be based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, licenses/certifications, industry knowledge, and geographic location.
