Founding Engineer

About this role

We're looking for a Founding Engineer to be a full-stack builder, working on scalable systems that test and evaluate conversational AI. This is a high-ownership role where you'll design infrastructure, build features end-to-end, and work directly with customers to refine and deploy the product in real-world environments.

What you'll do

• Architect and develop systems to simulate, analyze, and evaluate conversational AI agents (voice + multimodal).
• Design resilient, scalable infrastructure with AWS (Lambda, EC2, Websockets, SIP) to handle thousands of real-time conversations.
• Build algorithms and pipelines that surface insights, detect failure modes, and ensure AI agents are safe, reliable, and aligned with human intent.
• Work directly with customers to deploy, refine, and test product features in production.
• Take ownership of features from conception to deployment, maintaining clean, maintainable systems.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $120K - $170K
• Equity: 0.20% - 1.00% ownership
