Job Description

As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Gemini, you will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and serve as a key member of the executive leadership team. You will be responsible for shaping the company's financial strategy, managing capital operations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role is critical to driving Gemini's growth, enhancing financial efficiency, and safeguarding the company's financial position in the rapidly evolving digital asset industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the global finance team, driving strategies that support Gemini's long-term growth and profitability.
  • Oversee capital operations including fundraising, mergers and acquisitions, investor relations, and capital markets activities.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC, SOX, and international financial regulations.
  • Optimize financial operations and reporting to drive efficiency, scalability, and strong internal controls.
  • Partner with the CEO, Board of Directors, and executive leadership to provide financial insights that guide strategic business decisions.
  • Support Gemini's expansion into new markets and product lines such as derivatives, DeFi, and stablecoins.
  • Strengthen enterprise-level risk management frameworks to protect against financial and market volatility.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including at least 5 years as a CFO or senior financial executive in fintech, blockchain, or financial services.
  • Proven track record in capital markets, fundraising, mergers & acquisitions, and governance for public or late-stage private companies.
  • Strong understanding of cryptocurrency, blockchain, and fintech regulatory frameworks (SEC, FinCEN, FATF, MiCA, etc.).
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Annual salary range: USD 325,000 – 475,000 (depending on experience and qualifications).
