The Opportunity

We're seeking a driven Junior Financial Planner/Advisor to deliver tailored financial planning solutions, reporting directly to the Founder/CEO and Head of Wealth Planning. This role focuses on financial planning and insurance, retirement planning, estate planning, 10b5-1 planning, and stock option planning, offering a platform to grow your career and leverage your past and existing client relationships. With 3-5 years of experience and a portable book of clients, you'll contribute to our growth while benefiting from mentorship and a collaborative, innovative culture.


Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior advisors to craft and deliver comprehensive financial plans, integrating insurance, retirement strategies, estate planning, 10b5-1 plans, and stock option planning.
  • Engage with clients on inquiries related to financial strategies, portfolio performance, insurance, retirement goals, estate planning, 10b5-1 plans, and stock options.
  • Execute upon excellent, dedicated, Concierge like service levels.
  • Develop compelling proposals to attract prospective clients, highlighting our holistic wealth management expertise.
  • Create and present customized financial plans aligned with clients' long-term objectives, including estate and legacy planning.
  • Prepare materials for client meetings, collaborating with internal teams for seamless execution.
  • Attend client meetings, own follow-up tasks, and ensure timely delivery of action items.
  • Coordinate with clients' attorneys, accountants, and other professionals to support estate planning, 10b5-1, stock option, and other planning needs.
  • Support client data management and contribute to special projects as needed.
  • Drive firm growth by leveraging your network and client base to attract new clients to the firm.


Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in wealth management or financial planning, with exposure to insurance, retirement planning, estate planning, 10b5-1 planning, or stock option planning.
  • Portable book of business or established client relationships (preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university; majors in financial planning, finance, economics, business, accounting, or law preferred.
  • CFP designation or progress toward certification.
  • Expertise with insurance products, retirement strategies, estate planning, 10b5-1 plans, and stock option planning.
  • Tax or legal background/experience is a significant plus.
  • Exceptional communication and client-facing skills with a proactive, client-first mindset.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency with financial planning software, portfolio management tools, and platforms for estate planning, 10b5-1, and stock option analysis.
