A leading renewable energy developer is hiring for a high-impact role on its Finance & Treasury team. This is a unique opportunity to work across project finance, M&A, tax equity, and capital markets strategy while supporting a world-class portfolio of utility-scale wind, solar, storage, and transmission assets.

This role is based in San Francisco and follows a hybrid schedule (in-office Tuesday through Thursday). The office can be easily accessed via the ferry or BART.

About the Role:

You'll play a key role in structuring and executing complex financial transactions that fund the company's investments in renewable infrastructure. The team operates at the intersection of finance, development, and operations, and is highly collaborative. You'll gain visibility into senior decision-making and investor engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain complex financial models from scratch
• Support due diligence and risk assessment on active transactions
• Analyze capital structure options and develop creative financing solutions
• Prepare internal and external investment presentations
• Engage with lenders, tax equity investors, and development partners
• Conduct market research, pricing analysis, and scenario modeling

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in project finance, M&A, or structured finance
• Renewable energy sector exposure required (wind, solar, storage, or transmission)
• Backgrounds of interest include: independent power producers (IPPs), investment banking, infrastructure private equity, or clean energy developers
• Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Bachelor's in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
