  • Solid understanding of relational databases and REST/GraphQL API design.
  • Experience delivering software in a collaborative, agile environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset.
  • Openness to leveraging AI tools (e.g., LLMs, code assistants) and a desire to build software that integrates with or serves AI/LLM applications.

  • Bonus: Experience with advertising targeting metadata or other classification systems.
  • Bonus: Experience with Rust and/or other compiled languages.
  • Bonus: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), containerization (Docker), or CI/CD pipelines.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with observability tools, automated testing, and performance optimization.

What Makes An Exceptional Candidate

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver features that are robust, scalable, and maintainable.
  • Passion for learning and adopting new technologies, especially in the evolving AI/LLM space. Familiarity with prompt engineering, LLM API integration, or building tools that assist or are assisted by AI agents is a big plus.
  • Comfort with rapid prototyping and iterative development in ambiguous or emerging problem spaces.
  • Track record of mentoring others and elevating team performance.
