A DAY IN THE LIFE: The Data Engineering and Internal Products (DEIP) team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. You'll be a technical leader responsible for designing, building and improving platforms and services that empower our customers and other teams at Clever.

You will be part of a team that empowers a data-driven organization, helps our customers become data-driven, and builds internal products that Clever employees use every day.

Responsibilities

• Design and build services and products that support scaling company processes, improve decision making, and empower customers with actionable data.
• Build and scale our analytics pipeline for simplified data management and enable business and product analytics.
• Develop Clever's internal products to enhance productivity and security for our people and processes.
• Manage Clever's data warehouse and optimize for scale as the user base and product surface area grow.
• Expand and scale external analytics products to meet the analytics demands of external customers.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a software engineer
• Experience with front end or back end development
• Experience building data pipelines and ingesting data
• Experience with SQL
• Experience with modern data analytics tools, especially dbt, Snowflake, Stitch, and Spark
• Experience with AWS services is a plus (e.g., Lambda, Athena, S3, RDS, Dynamo, Kinesis, Glue)
• Experience with design and architecture of end-to-end systems to solve product and data needs
• Desire to learn and teach through collaboration and code reviews

Salary Transparency

The base salary range for this role in the United States (excluding NYC and San Francisco) is $160,000–$190,000. For candidates in NYC and San Francisco, the range is $177,000–$209,000. All final offers are determined based on experience and level of expertise.
