The Registered Nurse utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care for mothers and babies. Function as members of the interdisciplinary and nursing teams. Carry out established nursing procedures and perform related duties as required. Perform nursing care for patients with more complex needs with assistance and supervision. Assist with the management of patient care administered by other members of the nursing team. The flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations is required.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. Join our dynamic team to provide care for women and babies throughout the continuum of pregnancy and childbirth, including fetal surgery. This 45-bed unit is a unique integrated service for high-risk tertiary care combining well baby, postpartum, antepartum and labor and delivery that includes 9 OBED/recovery beds, 9 LDR rooms, a Newborn nursery, and 3 surgical suites.
