The Center for Studies in Higher Education (CSHE) at the University of California, Berkeley aims to influence higher education through policy-relevant research and promoting social justice. One of CSHE's programs is the Executive Leadership Academy.

Role Description

This is an on-site role for an Executive Director at the Executive Leadership Academy (ELA) at UC Berkeley in the San Francisco Bay Area. The Executive Director will be responsible for overseeing and managing the program's operations, strategizing and planning curriculum development, advising higher education leaders, and fostering relationships with faculty, staff, and external stakeholders. The role also involves teaching, fundraising, and representing ELA at local, national, and international events.

Qualifications

• Leadership skills, Management experience, and Strategic Planning
• Experience in higher education administration leadership is essential
• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills
• Experience in Fundraising and Partnership Development
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people
• Commitment to promoting social justice and educational equity
• Doctoral degree in Education, Public Policy, or a related field is desirable
