Overview

Artisan Partners is seeking a dynamic and driven Associate Director to join our Intermediary Distribution team, supporting the Broker-Dealer and RIA channels across the West region. This role is ideal for a self-starter and collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment. The Associate Director will work closely with the regional team to expand Artisan's presence, deepen client relationships, and drive sales growth. Location: Los Angeles, CA | San Francisco, CA.

Compensation

Base pay range: $90,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Associates may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon Firm and individual performance.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing financial advisor clients
• Proactively initiate daily outbound calls to prospect and engage targeted financial advisors
• Collaborate with the regional team to develop and execute a strategic territory business plan
• Profile financial advisors to understand their business models and identify new investment opportunities
• Implement client retention strategies and support ongoing relationship management
• Maintain and update the client/prospect database with accurate and timely information
• Analyze sales reports to identify trends and opportunities for growth
• Stay informed on industry developments, competitor activity, and market trends
• Travel within the territory to conduct in-person meetings and attend industry conferences

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses required
• 2-5 years of experience in intermediary distribution or wholesaling
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
• Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory
