We are seeking a skilled Applications Development Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development and optimization of our advanced technologies.

Position Overview

We are looking for a talented and motivated Applications Development Engineer with a technical background in gas delivery systems, mass flow controllers, pressure controllers, and semiconductor process equipment. The ideal candidate will have 5 years or more of experience in semiconductor capital equipment hardware engineering or related fields, and a strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Technical Support: Provide technical support for gas delivery systems, mass flow controllers, and pressure controllers used in semiconductor manufacturing. Address customer inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and offer solutions to ensure optimal system performance.
• Application Engineering: Develop and refine application-specific solutions for semiconductor manufacturing processes, focusing on enhancing product performance and reliability. Work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Product Optimization: Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize product specifications to meet customer requirements. Analyze performance data, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to enhance system performance and reliability.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including application notes, user manuals, and standard operating procedures. Ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Customer Interaction: Engage with customers to provide technical consultations, conduct product demonstrations, and deliver training sessions on system operation and maintenance. Foster strong customer relationships and act as a liaison between the customer and internal teams.
• Project Management: Manage and support project activities related to the integration and deployment of Pivotals products into semiconductor equipment. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project execution.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
• Experience: 2-5 years of experience in a technical role related to gas delivery systems, mass flow controllers, and/or pressure controllers.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, including knowledge of gas delivery systems, mass flow controllers, and pressure controllers. Experience with semiconductor capital equipment hardware and process optimization is highly desirable.
