Summary: Our lab aims to understand the mechanisms of cardiac arrhythmias and how those relate to gross cardiac fibrosis and disease at electrophysiological and molecular levels. The Research Assistant (Junior or Assistant Specialist) will be involved in all aspects of the research from disease creation to whole tissue mapping and cell line generation. With supervision, the incumbent will also be responsible for analyzing lines of mice with mutations in central genes involved in cardiac development and diseases.

Salary: See Table 24B for the salary range for this position. A reasonable estimate for this position is $63,500-$70,700.
