Senior Landscape Designer

Award winning garden design firm in San Francisco looking for full-time landscape architect with client and design skills. Projects include private gardens up and down the West Coast. Classical style, refined aesthetic.

Friendly and casual office with hybrid work from home option. This position will involve frequent site visits to projects in and around San Francisco, so a short commute is preferred.

Desired candidate will demonstrate a strong architecturally oriented design approach. Technical, organizational, and project management skills are required. Specific experience in design development, construction documents and an understanding of – and interest in – materials is a necessity. It is important to be self-motivated and supportive of the team.

Experience Requirements:
-8-10 years' experience in a professional office

-Knowledge of building, local and state codes with experience in permit submittals

-Development of construction drawings and details (working knowledge of construction techniques)

-Ability to produce hand-drawn perspectives, plans, sections
-Ability to select and identify plant material widely used in CA Bay Area

Software Skills and Education Requirements:
-AutoCAD, MS Office365, Adobe Creative Suite

-Professional degree in Architecture or Landscape Architecture
