NEOPTech is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer I. The job is onsite and based in Fremont, CA.

The salary range is $90k - 105k. Wage to be determined by the experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the candidate, and alignment with market data.

Summary

Develop, apply, and maintain quality requirements for processing components and other materials into finished goods and products.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality, product, and process documentation, including inspection plans, verification, and validation test protocols
  • Provide quality engineering support for new and existing products
  • Develop and implement quality programs including tracking, analyzing, reporting and problem solving, planning processes, material control, acceptance sampling and measurement systems
  • Monitor product adherence to all aesthetic and strategic requirements. Analyze nonconforming conditions found during incoming inspection or floor rejects to determine their root cause
  • Summarize and then report nonconformance information and evaluate trends and major causes (Pareto analysis) to process owners and management
  • Develop and document inspection and verification procedures for use by Quality Department personnel
  • Maintenance and continual improvement of NEOTech's ISO 9001 Quality System through performing audits and training
  • Attending analysis and status meetings may consume up to 50% of a single day
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • 2 - 4 years engineering or related experience
  • PCBA experience high desired
