Minimum qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  2. 2 years of experience testing and releasing software products.
  3. 2 years of experience using the following software applications: C#, Python, WPF, Winforms, ASP Core, Blazor, SQL, GEM/SECS and tool communication.

Preferred qualifications:

  1. Experience developing and maintaining the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) in the semiconductor industry.
  2. Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) systems.
  3. Experience supporting MES application.
  4. Experience on SECS/GEM and tool communication.

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, and developing custom software applications that will be used in the semiconductor FAB. This is a full stack role and will involve developing user-friendly User Interface (UI) to develop business logic using Relational Database Management System and Structured Query Language server databases.

As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to Google's needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities, and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full stack as we continue to push technology forward.

+ Develop, maintain, administer, and enhance the Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Statistical Process Control (SPC), and engineering software applications.

+ Develop software applications for semiconductor tool data collection.

+ Implement best practices in documenting user requirements, design, coding, and testing of software solutions.

+ Partner with cross-functional teams, leadership, engineers, program managers, and data scientists to understand business and application needs.

+ Work on multiple overlapping projects at the same time and work independently with minimal supervision. Due to the nature of the work, this requires coming to work five days a week.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
