Description

As a Product Marketing Manager for Amazon Elastic Container Service and AWS Fargate, you will define and drive marketing strategies for leading services in container management and orchestration. Your responsibilities include creating compelling content to help customers understand use cases and value propositions, and developing marketing programs to increase awareness, engagement, adoption, and retention.

Key job responsibilities

  • Define positioning and messaging for enterprise customers deploying container-based applications.
  • Partner with service teams, worldwide services organization (WWSO), and product marketers to identify strategic customers and craft targeted messaging.
  • Create audience-specific content and tools such as eBooks, presentations, whitepapers, infographics, webinars, customer success stories, and sales plays.
  • Develop marketing programs to boost engagement and service consideration.

A day in the life

  • Develop and implement innovative product marketing activities targeting relevant audiences.
  • Identify strategic customers deploying production workloads to analyze ROI and qualitative proof points.
  • Collaborate with other marketing teams to incorporate AWS Serverless services into global initiatives.
  • Work effectively across AWS groups—product, digital marketing, sales, business development, and evangelists—to meet business goals.
  • Continuously measure and optimize marketing initiatives.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) drives revenue, adoption, and growth across various customer segments, including public sector. The AWS Support team partners with customers building mission-critical applications on AWS.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional marketing experience
  • Data-driven decision-making skills
  • Proficiency with Excel or Tableau
  • Experience managing cross-functional marketing campaigns
  • Ability to measure and optimize marketing performance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing external marketing partners
  • Strong presentation skills across organizational levels
  • MBA with focus on Marketing or Strategy
