Perception Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced ML Perception Engineer to join a fast-growing autonomous vehicle company in San Francisco.

Role

You'll develop and implement state-of-the-art ML perception techniques to enable autonomous vehicles to navigate complex off-road environments. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll optimize models for real-world deployment, ensuring high performance on embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Optimize models for low-latency inference on embedded hardware.
• Build cloud-based training and data pipelines.
• Collaborate on sensor selection and integration.
• Write high-performance, well-tested software.
• Test your code in real-world environments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in computer vision, ML, and robotic perception.
• Strong foundation in deep learning, dataset management, and model optimization.
• Proficiency in modern C++ and Python.
• Experience with compute-constrained pipelines (TensorRT, quantization, CUDA).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
• Previous experience working on Autonomous vehicles at level 4+ is preferred
