Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist with monthly general ledger close and manage audit schedules.
• Perform general ledger entries, account reconciliations and month-end accruals.
• Provide analysis of financial performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Manage audit schedules, including leases and fixed assets.
• Review revenue postings, including manufacturer-direct invoicing.
• Post payroll entries and manage schedules for vendor incentives.
• Drive process improvement in Accounts Payables and migration to paperless workflow.
• Assist with vouchering, receipt matching and purchase order discrepancy resolution.
• Conduct periodic review of vendor and freight carrier invoices.
• Create and deliver invoices for direct-ship customers and third-party freight.
• Resolves outstanding invoice discrepancies with buyers or vendors as needed.
• Prioritize vendor payments and assist with assigning cash disbursement priorities.
• Facilitate vendor communications.
• Set up and manage weekly check, ACH and wire transactions.
• Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
• Continually look for opportunities to collaborate with and mentor team members as well as help the department improve.
• Update job knowledge by participating in education opportunities.
• Assist with other accounting department needs as required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Thorough knowledge of applicable AR, AP, General Ledger and sales tax process.
Experience with ERP systems; AS400-based systems a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of high-volume, full cycle accounting experience required.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52.89 - $60.10/hr.
