Job Description: Software Engineer at Rivio

: Hybrid - 2 days/week in person

: Backed by Gradient Ventures (Google AI Fund) and S32

Job Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency with AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) is mandatory.
• Strong grasp of agentic AI fundamentals: context management, retrieval grounding, tool/function calling, and multi-agent orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with public cloud (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and building/operating data pipelines.
• Proven ability to deliver in fast-paced, rapidly evolving environments.

Mission-Driven Objective / What You Will Do:

• Build AI Agents that function as a full-time procurement manager— not just a tool.
• Deliver grounded answers from large, overlapping corpora; extract key terms/SLAs/pricing into structured schemas.
• Build action tools to execute in ERP/AP/procurement systems with audit trails, RBAC, and safe rollback.
• Ship evals + observability (task success, precision@1, latency, cost) and enforce guardrails for privacy and policy.
• You build it, you run it —own reliability, incident response, and continuous iteration.
