About the Role

We're partnering with a client in the cloud security industry that's looking to add a Sales Engineer to their growing go-to-market team. In this role, you'll work alongside Account Executives to handle technical discovery, deliver tailored demos, and guide prospects through proof-of-concepts.

This is a hybrid pre-sales role with a strong focus on identity security, cloud workload protection, and threat detection. You don't need to be a developer, but you should be hands-on in customer environments and comfortable explaining security trade-offs to both technical teams and executives.

What You'll Do
  • Support the sales process from discovery through close in partnership with AEs.
  • Lead product demos and technical deep-dives across:
  • Identity & Access Management (IAM) - SSO, MFA, lifecycle management.
  • Cloud Security (CNAPP/CSPM) - securing workloads across AWS, Azure, GCP.
  • Build and manage customer proof-of-concepts (POCs) that demonstrate value quickly.
  • Translate technical features into compliance and audit benefits (SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, NIST).
  • Share customer feedback with product and engineering teams.
  • Stay current on security trends, cloud architectures, and regulatory changes.
What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years in pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting, ideally with a cybersecurity vendor.
  • Hands-on expertise in at least one of the following: IAM (Okta, Ping, Azure AD), CNAPP/CSPM (Prisma, Wiz, Orca), or SIEM/XDR (Splunk, Chronicle, Elastic, Cortex).
  • Strong grasp of modern enterprise infrastructure (cloud, containers, SaaS integrations).
  • Ability to connect product features to compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP).
  • Excellent presentation skills with both technical engineers and executives.
