Job Summary
Grand Electric & Construction Co is seeking an experienced and highly organized Electrical Project Manager to lead and oversee electrical projects from planning through completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and construction management, with experience in Data Centers, Caltrans projects and Public Works. This role requires the ability to deliver projects on time, on budget, and in compliance with all safety and industry standards. We are looking for a motivated leader with excellent problem-solving and communication skills who can collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee all phases of electrical projects, from scope development to final closeout.
Develop, review, and maintain detailed project schedules and budgets, ensuring milestones are met.
Prepare accurate cost estimates and assist with bid proposals (estimating experience ).
Review, interpret, and analyze electrical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
Ensure compliance with the Electrical Code (NEC) and all local, state, and federal regulations.
Supervise on-site activities, enforce safety standards, and coordinate subcontractors and field crews.
Utilize Bluebeam for project documentation, markups, and collaboration.
Leverage ProCore for project management, reporting, and communication.
Identify potential project risks and implement solutions to maintain efficiency and profitability.
Provide regular progress updates and reports to clients, stakeholders, and senior leadership.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of electrical project management experience ().
Proven track record with Data Centers, Caltrans projects, Public Works and large-scale electrical installations.
Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and safety regulations.
Estimating experience , with proven ability to prepare accurate budgets and cost analyses.
Proficiency in Bluebeam and ProCore strongly .
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet strict deadlines.
Experience managing on-site construction crews and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
