The Nursing Assistant provides basic nursing care to a patient population under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Job Description:EDUCATION - Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience. Other: Hospital Assistant or equivalent training (nursing student)CERTIFICATION & LICENSUREBLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider. DEPARTMENT REQUIRED CERTIFICATION & LICENSURECNA-Certified Nurse Assistant, preferred. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant an acute care hospital required or nursing student. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE - Requires excellent communication, organization and relationship skills. Job Shift:Evenings. Schedule:Full Time. Shift Hours:8 Days of the Week:Variable.
