$280,000.00/yr - $300,000.00/yr

About the Company

A breakout consumer AI startup is looking for a Head of Engineering to join at a pivotal moment — just after hitting $1M ARR in under 4 months and on track to 10x that within the year. They're building AI tools that supercharge individual creators — helping them produce standout social content at scale. The product sits at the intersection of AI, video, and real-time collaboration. Early traction has been explosive, and they're backed by top-tier angels with ongoing conversations with tier-1 VCs. This is an opportunity to own the technical vision, build out the team, and help define a product that could touch millions!

You Might Be a Fit If

• You're a builder-founder hybrid — still hands-on but ready to scale and lead
• You've led teams, owned stacks, and shipped 0→1 products at pace
• You're deeply technical with fluency in full-stack, cloud infra, and AI productization (especially around video/gen media)
• You want to shape more than code — from culture to product direction to strategy
• Frontend: React, TypeScript, Next.js, Tailwind
• AI/ML: Diffusion/transformer-based inference, streaming APIs, generative media tools

What You'll Do

• Own technical vision + architecture across product & infra
• Build and lead a world-class engineering team from the ground up
• Ship fast in direct collaboration with design, product, and users
• Solve high-impact challenges: GPU scaling, real-time UX, AI rendering

Must-Have Experience

• 8+ years in engineering, with 2+ in leadership or Founding/CTO role
• Built/scaled full-stack products used by thousands+
• Strong grasp of system design, real-time infra, and AI pipelines
• Proven ability to hire, coach, and lead high-performance teams
• Deep product instincts and high standards for quality + velocity
