Role: Software Engineer
Location: On-site, San Francisco, CA
Compensation: $200,000 - $230,000 base salary + 0.3% - 0.6% equityAbout the Role
A fast-growing, AI-driven startup is looking for a full-time Software Engineer to join their core engineering team. The company builds a next-generation training and QA platform for customer-facing teams at large enterprises. This is a high-impact, full-stack position where you'll work across the entire product lifecycle-from early design discussions through to deployment and iteration.
You'll contribute directly to real-time simulation tools using chat, voice, and video, and help shape the technical foundation of a product already used by major customers.
What Will You Do
- Design and implement features across the full stack using Next.js, Supabase, OpenAI, and ElevenLabs
- Build real-time AI-powered simulations for training and evaluation
- Drive architectural decisions around scalable conversation scoring systems
- Work directly with designers, customers, and leadership to turn ideas into live features
- Contribute to fast-paced sprints focused on product needs and customer impact
- Strong experience as a full-stack engineer, ideally with frameworks like Next.js
- Familiarity with integrating AI/LLM tools (e.g., OpenAI)
- Hands-on experience building real-time or multimodal applications (chat, voice, or video)
- Product thinking-ability to prioritize and build what matters
- Comfort working in a small, high-ownership environment
- Willingness to work on-site 5 days a week in San Francisco
- Base salary: $200,000 - $230,000
- Equity: 0.3% - 0.6%
