Join our team as a Utility Yard Project Manager! This exciting role offers a hybrid work environment with regular travel expected within the Bay Area of CA and neighboring regions. This is a contract position that can last from 6 to 18 months, with the possibility of direct hire placement.

Core Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, implement, manage, and evaluate programs related to utility yard operations while identifying recommendations for process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and all applicable federal, state, and local laws relating to utility operations.
• Oversee the implementation and project management of construction yards and facilities, ensuring operational integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate resources such as equipment, materials, and personnel for various projects within the utility yard, following client procurement processes.
• Collaborate with different teams and departments as well as external agencies, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
• Troubleshoot operational challenges, implement effective solutions, and discover ways to enhance efficiency while reducing costs.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of four years of technical experience in the gas, electric, communications, or water utility sector or related industries.
• At least three years of project management experience.
• Proven ability to manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
