Job Title: Financial Analyst III

Assignment Type: 6-Month W2 Contract
Pay Range: $55-$63 per hour
About the Company
Our client is a leading manufacturer and seller of products for the life science research and clinical diagnostics markets. They are seeking a Financial Analyst III to join their Group Finance team supporting the R&D and PMO department within the Clinical Diagnostics Group. This high-visibility role offers exposure to Director and VP-level R&D leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist with the Long Range Plan, Annual Operating Plan, quarterly forecasts, and monthly "Latest Visibility" process (rolling OPEX forecast for R&D).
• Manage Month-End Close Process: Prepare monthly journal entries for CDG R&D, including accruals, reclasses, and items related to R&D tax credits.
• Monthly Reporting & Variance Analysis: Create and maintain reports explaining CDG R&D's financial performance, and conduct variance analysis.
• Maintain Headcount Funnel: Manage the hiring forecast and headcount-related expense projections for future months.
• Ad Hoc Analysis: Handle a variety of business partner requests with minimal supervision.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 6+ years of FP&A experience required, ideally with a multinational public company.
• Big Four experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with SAP and Oracle EPM strongly preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel required.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interpret data, tell the story behind the numbers, and provide actionable insights.
