About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure & Security Engineer to lead and evolve our cloud infrastructure and security posture across a growing suite of regulated medical software and data pipelines. This position reports to the Connectivity software lead and works cross-functionally with product, hardware, machine learning, and regulatory teams. The annual salary range for this role is $157,000 to $171,500.

Responsibilities include:

• Define and implement infrastructure-as-code systems with Terraform across AWS
• Design and manage PKI and key infrastructure for device identity and authorization
• Operate and evolve a secure cloud app for manufacturing workflows (VPNs, uptime, audits, access controls)
• Build and maintain backend pipelines for device logs (S3, Lambdas, Splunk integration, compliance)
• Support design and deployment of ML data pipelines, including training data availability and compute provisioning
• Enforce and evangelize best practices in availability, compliance, observability, and automation

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of experience designing and implementing software in production quality
• Strong background in cloud infrastructure, networking, and systems administration
• Expertise with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform preferred)
• Familiarity with observability tooling (e.g., Prometheus, Splunk, CloudWatch)
• Understanding of secure software development practices and audit logging
• Excellent technical communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and independent
• High level of emotional intelligence and ability to build and manage diverse relationships

• Experience with compliance frameworks like SOC2 and HIPAA and regulated software development or medical device systems
• Experience supporting ML or data infrastructure in production
• Experience designing or evaluating cloud security architecture across varied environments
• Proficiency with Linux systems administration and troubleshooting
