PRC Baker Places is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the San Francisco community through legal advocacy, workforce development, financial services, and residential treatment programs. We support formerly homeless adults living with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders by providing a continuum of integrated direct care services. All of our programs are grounded in a social rehabilitation philosophy that integrates harm reduction and daily living skills within a safe and supportive environment.

Title: Residential Counselor
Available Shifts: Day, Swing, and Overnight
Locations: Baker Street House, Grove Street House, Robertson Place, San Jose Place, Odyssey House

Position Overview
The Residential Counselor provides 24-hour support at the residential facility they are assigned to support, while offering counseling services to an adult population with psychiatric, substance abuse and/or HIV-AIDS related disabilities. Residential counselors advocate for and respond to clients' treatment and rehabilitation needs. All agency services are provided from the philosophy of social rehabilitation, which integrates teaching daily living skills in a safe and healthy environment.
