As Scale's product portfolio and customer base expand, we are seeking skilled DevOps Engineers, Public Sector to be at the forefront of building out and enhancing our CI/CD pipelines. You will help streamline the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by moving from manual, disparate deployments to a unified and automated system, and integrate various ML tasks and updates into the lifecycle. Direct ML expertise is not required, but a desire to learn and integrate ML components into the workflow is essential.

• Design, develop, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment of our lowside and highside products.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to enhance application code for compatibility and streamlined integration within automated pipelines.
• Contribute to the architecture and design of deployment systems to increase efficiency and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex deployment issues to minimize disruption to development cycles.
• Build a deep understanding of product and ML architectures to enable seamless integration and deployment.
• Document pipeline processes and configurations to ensure maintainability and knowledge transfer.
• Incorporate security best practices into all stages of the CI/CD pipeline.
• Drive standardization and collaboration across product teams to achieve a unified SDLC.

• 2-3 years of experience as a DevOps/DevSecOps/Software Engineer with a focus on CI/CD or similar roles.
• Proven track record of building or enhancing CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience configuring and adapting application code to integrate with evolving CI/CD environments.
• Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Familiarity with CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Knowledge of software architecture, system design, and version control systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and a passion for automated solutions to complex problems.
• Basic understanding of security practices in software development and eagerness to integrate them.
• A desire to learn about ML integration in automated workflows.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Active Secret or TS/SCI clearance is beneficial but not required for this Public Sector position.

• Cloud platform familiarity (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Exposure to machine learning lifecycles or MLOps concepts.
• Experience in classified environments.
