Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a candidate to provide electrical engineering and design for water and wastewater facility projects.

• Lead electrical engineer on projects for water and wastewater facilities. Responsibilities include supervision of less experienced staff working on projects, and interaction with clients and engineers from other disciplines.
• Apply knowledge in industrial power design, including medium and low voltage electrical power distribution, generator design, motor control, VFDs, lighting systems, equipment layout and related activities.
• Maintain good communication with clients and contractors and ensure coordination with other project disciplines.
• AutoCAD experience is a must; Revit BIM software and SKM and/or ETAP power systems software are desirable.
• Prior project leadership experience is desirable.
• Experience with instrumentation and control systems is a plus, including field and panel instruments, operator interfaces, and PLCs.
• 7-11 years of experience in electrical engineering and design in water/wastewater or other heavy industrial industry is required.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineering License is required.
