Paramark is building a system of record to help marketers optimize spend across channels and programs, with a focus on measurement and experimentation. We are a young company founded in 2023, growing with a strong traction and a vision to help mid-market customers.

Responsibilities
  • You will be the first member of a new team. You'll report to Pete (CTO) and work closely with the Growth advisory team and the Product engineering team.
  • Analyze customers' marketing data and produce the reports that are a core part of our offering.
  • Assess model outputs by applying understanding of customers and their marketing spend to judge reasonableness; learn during onboarding if you lack marketing experience.
  • Own end-to-end operation of data workflows: data collection, cleaning, training ML models, assessing model fit, and communicating findings to the team. We will teach you how.
  • Balance quality and speed in analyses; communicate tradeoffs openly and be receptive to feedback.
  • Handle sensitive customer data with a focus on quality and security.
  • Collaborate with the product engineering and growth advisory teams to share feedback and help prioritize roadmap items.
  • Prototype automation: script tools to improve efficiency and experiment with AI and automation, sharing results with the product engineering team.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience with Python and SQL; comfortable writing clean Python code and SQL with outer joins, aggregations, inline views, and type conversions.
  • Experience working with real-world data and ability to produce high-quality code in the face of data quality issues and poorly documented schemas.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality results in complex situations.
  • Excellent communication skills; able to explain complex technical issues simply and keep teammates updated.
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and take responsibility for delivery.
  • Willingness to learn marketing, data science, and machine learning; interest in helping customers achieve positive outcomes.
Benefits and culture
  • Reasonable working hours with emphasis on sustainable culture; in-office collaboration with flexibility as needed.
  • Time off policy: federal holidays plus 4 weeks of PTO per year; health, dental, and vision insurance with premiums covered for employees.
