Description:

Overview

Hover is making the homeowner journey easy, transparent and fun. Starting with the home improvement industry, we're answering age-old questions like What is it going to look like? and What is it going to cost?, by helping homeowners and pros visualize what's possible with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and interactive 3D property models. Homeowners, contractors, and insurance professionals all use Hover to get fully measured, accurate, and interactive models of any property—in a matter of minutes, and with just a few snaps of a smartphone camera.

You will contribute by
  • Shaping the future of our architecture as we adopt Swift 6, SwiftUI, and modern concurrency models
  • Working directly with ARKit, CoreML, LiDAR, 3D rendering pipelines, and different types of latest technologies to create immersive, intelligent capture experiences
  • Re-architecting and modularizing our Capture SDK for performance, scalability, and ease of integration
  • Building modern, asynchronous data flows and real-time UI pipelines optimized for AR and camera responsiveness
  • Elevating our testing strategy and CI/CD systems to meet production-grade quality and reliability standards
  • Prototyping, experimenting, and shipping new features in AR, spatial computing, and intelligent feedback systems
  • Collaborating across design, product, and engineering to influence the roadmap and build tools developers love
Your background includes
  • 5+ years building robust, scalable iOS applications in Swift, with deep knowledge of SwiftUI/UIKit and modern async/concurrent programming
  • Proficiency with 3D camera models—including intrinsic/extrinsic matrices—and their practical application in ARKit, rendering pipelines, and backend data flows
  • Solid grasp of scalable architectural patterns (e.g., MVVM, or other modern architecture), with experience designing modular, maintainable systems
  • Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, and a desire to foster a strong testing culture
  • Skills in performance tuning, profiling, and optimizing app responsiveness and memory usage
  • Comfortable collaborating across disciplines—design, product, 3D artists, and backend engineers
  • Strong sense of ownership and initiative—proactively leads features, proposes improvements, and follows through on delivery
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
Bonus points
  • Familiarity with depth maps, projection transforms, or camera calibration is a big plus
  • Exposure to Metal, Graphic Programming, RealityKit, or SceneKit
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Bitrise, GitHub Actions)
  • Experience with machine learning, computer vision, and deep learning
Benefits

  • Healthcare - Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and dependents
  • Paid Time Off - Unlimited and flexible vacation policy
