The position is a mostly remote schedule but you must have a willingness and ability to travel to San Francisco for hybrid work every couple weeks during the initial first few months while the company ramps up. Annual Base Salary target is between $150k - $210k depending on experience. If you need a little bit more $ let us know and we can talk about it. Must meet 85% of the below requirements to be considered:

  • Ideally candidate will be from the greater SF, CA Bay Area.

  • Must be able to work a remote schedule and have a willingness and ability to travel to San Francisco for hybrid work every couple weeks during the initial ramp-up period for the startup.

  • ~8 years in relevant technology roles

  • 4 years of experience with AI interaction, evaluation, human computer interaction research and/or cognitive modeling

  • 4+ years of experience with evaluation frameworks (DSPy, Weights and Biases) and simulation engineering tools

  • 4+ years of experience with data engineering, statistical analysis, and experimental design methodologies

  • ~4 years of experience with prompt engineering, LLM fine-tuning, and conversational AI optimization

  • ~4 years of experience with Python andstatistical analysis tools

    • Please share GitHub to see referenceable work to demonstrate what they've actually built

  • ~4 years of experience with SQL & NoSQL database technologies

  • Proven track record** in conducting user psychology research and behavioral analysis

  • Experience designing and executing complex experiments in AI-human interaction contexts

  • Understanding of enterprise decision-making processes and executive communication patterns

  • Knowledge of cognitive science principles related to human-AI interaction

  • Personality: No egos and must be hungry and eager to learn, as well as be adaptable and excited to work in a fast-paced startup culture

  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup culture environment

  • Must be able to pass a background check for onboarding

Pay Details: $150,000.00 to $210,000.00 per year
