We have partnered with a mission-focused organization growing their Machine Learning team focused on Gen AI. As a senior technical leader, you'll drive the design and integration of cutting-edge AI capabilities into real-world products used by millions. You'll work alongside a diverse, cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and product thinkers to bring human-centered AI experiences to life—experiences that respect users' time, data, and trust.

What You'll Do

• Lead the development and deployment of advanced Generative AI systems (including LLMs and multimodal models) directly into end-user applications.
• Identify high-impact opportunities where AI can meaningfully enhance the user experience, improve workflows, or provide intelligent assistance.
• Partner with product managers, designers, and platform engineers to deliver intelligent features at scale.
• Stay at the forefront of the AI landscape, continuously evaluating emerging research, tools, and trends to inform innovation and strategy.
• Champion responsible AI development, ensuring ethical, transparent, and privacy-preserving practices across all initiatives.
• Mentor engineers across the organization, fostering a strong technical culture and a spirit of continuous learning.
• Contribute to technical vision and architecture across multiple teams and collaborate on long-term strategy.

What You'll Bring

• 8+ years of experience as a machine learning engineer or applied scientist, with a strong focus on production-level AI/ML systems.
• Hands-on experience deploying LLMs and/or multimodal models in user-facing environments.
• Deep expertise in machine learning fundamentals, including natural language processing, deep learning, reinforcement learning, or related areas.
• Proven track record of delivering ML-driven features in large-scale applications, especially in complex or distributed systems.
• Familiarity with modern ML frameworks and tooling (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face), as well as experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience running experiments at scale, including A/B testing, survey design, and performance evaluation.
• Strong alignment with principles of responsible AI, including transparency, user consent, and minimizing algorithmic bias.
• Effective leadership in cross-functional and distributed teams; capable of driving alignment and momentum across varied stakeholders.
