Invenia Group has partnered with a leader in single-cell multi-omics solutions for precision medicine.Following a successful recent financing round, the company is entering an exciting growth phase, and is now looking to hire a Global Sales Director to its team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the company's commercial team, where you will have the chance to bring cutting-edge technology to market, build meaningful relationships with top-tier customers, and directly contribute to transforming the standard of care in cancer treatment.

Role responsibilities:

If successful, you will lead and manage the North American and European Academic Sales organisation, driving adoption and being responsible for the continued development and execution of a global academic sales strategy. You will:

  • Partner cross-functionally to support the company's revenue growth
  • Lead, develop, and manage the global Academic Sales team
  • Set clear goals and accountability measures for the team
  • Execute and continually improve the company's global academic sales strategy
  • Manage and grow strategic relationships with academic customers and thought leaders worldwide
  • Develop and maintain regional and global territory plans
  • Represent the company at academic conferences and events

What we are looking for:

We are looking for someone with a minimum of eight years of sales experience in life science tools, including CapEx, with a proven track record of progression and a minimum of three years of sales management; international experience preferred. You should also have:

  • Minimum of a B.S. Degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Cell Biology or a related field
  • Knowledge of the genomics tools market and technologies, including Next Gen Sequencing and related molecular/genomics technologies
  • A proven track record of building high-performing teams and exceeding company goals and sales targets
  • Excellent management skills
  • Willing to work from home office and travel up to 60% including regular field sales co-travel in North America and Europe
