About the Role:
Our client is looking to hire a Head of Community to lead the startup events and founder engagement strategy. You'll own the Community GTM channel from top to bottom, building grassroots trust in key markets and turning it into qualified pipeline, revenue, and brand equity.
You'll play a key role in supporting our client's brand-building efforts by creating standout in-person programs that resonate with founders and VCs. In SF and NYC, that means mentoring our community leads and scaling what's already working. In new markets, that means showing up first, hosting, listening, learning, and building momentum from scratch. You'll manage a budget, track real pipeline outcomes, and help us turn in-person connections into a repeatable growth engine.
You'll also be a brand ambassador and public-facing voice for our client. You'll represent the company in rooms with founders and investors, host and participate in events, and create content that reflects what you are seeing on the ground. You won't just run the channel, you'll embody it, building trust through presence, relationships, and signal.
You'll work closely with Sales, Growth, Marketing, and Partnerships to align every program to GTM priorities. You will know what moves the needle and what doesn't. You will bring insights from the field back into the business. And you will hold a high bar for what it means to show up well as a brand: premium, thoughtful, and founder-first.
