A well-established civil litigation law firm is seeking a Civil Litigation Defense Attorney for its San Francisco office. This role offers a supportive, team-driven environment with opportunities for professional growth and work-life balance.

Job Description

• Manage court appearances, pleadings, motions, discovery, depositions, mediations, pre-trial preparation, and trials.
• Act as a key member of the client service team.
• Collaborate in a flexible and supportive work setting.

Requirements

• Active membership in the State Bar of California (required).
• At least 1 year of experience in civil litigation (preferred).
• Knowledge of litigation procedures, including discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local laws.
• Insurance: Fully paid medical, $1,000 dental reimbursement, vision, life, short- and long-term disability.
• Retirement: 401(k) with immediate employer match vesting.
• Billing-based bonuses: Attorneys meeting 1,860 billable hours/year earn $120 per additional client-paid billable hour.
• Bonuses are awarded at year-end and prepaid quarterly if on track.
• Annual performance bonuses.
