Overview

Lead Front End Software Engineer to join the Product-Led Growth team under the product development organization. The Lead Front End Software Engineer will execute on all aspects of the software development lifecycle including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of the e-commerce and product-led growth applications. You enjoy fast-paced entrepreneurial environments where you can solve difficult problems using current technologies and tools. You collaborate well with other team members when brainstorming, designing, and implementing new solutions. You will also help the team succeed by thinking about ways to improve processes, suggesting ways to make the team more effective, and mentoring and modeling engineering best practices.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Operate as a staff-level engineer, leading projects end to end
  • Mentor senior engineers
  • Create user-focused experiences with React or Node
  • Help enhance Micro Frontend (MFE) infrastructure
  • Improve automated unit testing, platform stability, experimentation platform, and CI/CD
  • Collaborate actively with stakeholders

Qualifications

Basic

  • BS degree in CS or equivalent work experience
  • 12+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • 5+ years of product development experience building large scale web applications
  • Experience coding and designing in React, Next.js using TypeScript

Preferred

  • Experience building a React component library
  • Well-versed in web application secure coding practices
  • Passion for learning and working with new technologies
  • Experience designing and developing highly scalable consumer-facing web applications
  • Commitment to writing high-performance, reusable code for components used across products
  • Interest in creating an inclusive and accessible user experience
  • Experience with internationalization/localization
  • Experience working with Headless CMS like Contentful

Employment type

Hybrid: Employee divides time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required (Frequency: minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team).
