About The Role

Your chief responsibility will be writing code, working at all levels of the stack to deliver new features in our fast growing product. Your technical decisions will be laying the groundwork for future growth, and you will need to solve problems with scalability in mind. You'll build systems from the ground up with durability in mind, and with vision for how these systems will serve future use cases and product growth.

About You

You're wildly good at Javascript (we're all React and Node.js) and you love to learn. You have experience developing reliable, complex software. You're highly productive but take your craft seriously. You're confident you can help us cross this inflection point of explosive growth and improve the quality of our codebase simultaneously. You have the humility to know that for the team to scale, you'll need to recruit engineers who are even better than you or have the potential to be. Finally, you're excited about our mission to solve the entire insurance process. We're called AI Insurance for a reason and are on the bleeding edge of applying AI to an engineering org. You're comfortable pushing Claude Code to its limits and leaning into the changing idea of what software engineering is.
