About the Role

We are looking for a Network Automation Senior Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain scalable integrations across AR/VR devices, testing frameworks, and lab network infrastructures. This role bridges network engineering and development, with a focus on automation, data collection, and operational tooling to support seamless device testing and continuous integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Deploy Integrations: Respond to integration requests across AR/VR devices, smartphones, and testing frameworks, ensuring scalable and efficient solutions.
  • Tooling & Automation: Build and maintain REST/API services and internal tools to automate network functionalities and system processes.
  • Data Collection & Metrics: Capture and analyze KPIs from lab networks and test environments to support engineering decisions.
  • Monitoring & Reporting: Implement network monitoring systems (e.g., IP SLA) and generate performance reports with visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Unidash).
  • Database & Interface Management: Work with multiple database types (TSDB, NoSQL, SQL) and interfaces such as API, REST, and gRPC.
  • Documentation & Handoff: Create end-to-end solution documentation for handoffs and support, including training materials and operational guides.
  • Work onsite in Menlo Park, CA (5 days a week).
  • Travel may be required; travel varies from 25% to 100% depending on business needs and client requirements.

What You'll Need

  • Minimum 5+ years of Network Engineering experience.
  • Proven experience in network engineering and DevOps, ideally with a 60/40 or 70/30 split of expertise across both.
  • Proficient in Python, Bash, and working with APIs.
  • Experience with network monitoring, automation, and data collection systems.
  • Familiarity with adb/idb interfaces and Android/iOS ecosystems.
  • Skilled in using data analysis tools and visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau).
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years); if an Associate's Degree, 6 years of work experience required.

  • Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation capabilities.
