Our digital advertising is targeted and accountable, leveraging Walmart's sales data for proven results. Growth in our digital advertising business is key to Walmart's overall growth strategy. Walmart Connect is seeking to fill the role of Manager, Operations Analytics.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive operational intelligence, campaign optimization, and business analysis by developing visualizations through reports and dashboards for Walmart's advertising offerings, including Display, Sponsored Ads, and Offsite products.
  • Merge data sources using Business Intelligence tools like PowerBI to create versatile views for data analysis.
  • Create and maintain robust, easy-to-simplify dashboards.
  • Collaborate with product, operations, and sales teams to improve advertising metrics through effective reporting and visualization techniques.
  • Deliver tailored reports as required in a timely manner.
  • This is an individual contributor role and does not involve supervising employees.

Minimum Qualifications:

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, or related field, with 2 years' experience in analysis or modeling, or 4 years' experience conducting mathematical analyses.

Option 2: Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, or related field.

Option 3: 4 years' experience in data analysis, data science, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience designing and maintaining dashboards using PowerBI or Tableau.
  • Proficiency in SQL queries across platforms like Google BigQuery, Hive, Oracle SQL.
  • Strong background in data modeling, extraction, cleansing, and processing from multiple sources.
  • Experience in digital media analytics is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Ad networks, Ad exchanges, DSPs, SSPs, or Publisher systems is preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM and AdTech tools such as Salesforce or Google Ads Manager is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence across teams.
  • Proven ability to partner across functions and derive insights.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Location & Compensation:

San Bruno, CA: $104,000 - $202,000 annually

Hoboken, NJ: $96,000 - $186,000 annually

Additional bonuses and benefits are included.
