Join our dynamic team in a contractor role as a Manager of DSD Operations, where you'll play a pivotal role in the distribution of our Peet's products to our customers. Reporting directly to the Sr. Director of Operations, this role leads the full operational DSD management including but not limited to order to cash, warehouse operations (single storage units), fleet & POS management and contract management. This role will lead a team and will have to be someone who can work in a fast paced, changing environment. The Manager of DSD Operations collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, focusing on optimizing supply chain processes, maintaining compliance, and driving cost efficiencies. This is a Contractor position with an hourly rate.

• Duration: 12 months / Full-Time
• The target hourly rate is $58/hr.

What You'll Do (A Day in the Life):

• Lead a team ensuring clean order to cash across DSD Operations
• Build and maintain strong relationships with the DSD Operations Team, Field team, Sales Team and other cross functional partners.
• Oversee a team that manages warehouse operations for Single Storage units, fleet, POS or Point of Sale for the Field and contract management.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for product related issues, ensuring prompt resolution.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal cross-functional teams as well as external partnerships with vendors.
• Plan, organize, and supervise daily distribution activities, including inventory management, transportation logistics, and order fulfillment.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track distribution efficiency and effectiveness.
• Proactively identify and implement opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce errors, and improve overall operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Subject matter expert in all activities concerning DSD Operations ensuring we have SOP's in place and continuity planning across the business
• Clean order to cash across DSD.
• Maintain a deep understanding of CPG sales operations best practices, ensuring compliance with requirements.
• Collaborate with Fulfillment and Shipping teams to prioritize and resolve issues, ensuring operational efficiency and minimal disruptions.

What You Bring (Qualifications):

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 6+ years of operations experience specifically within order management at a manager+ level.
• Experience working with DSD.
• In-depth understanding of CPG Sales Operations processes, including order management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and solving operational issues.
• Self-starter mindset with creative problem-solving abilities and a focus on continuous improvement.
