O'Connor Environmental, Inc. (www.oe-i.com) is seeking a professional engineer licensed in California with experience in hydrologic & hydraulic modeling and design and implementation of river restoration projects. The engineer will join our small team of scientists & technicians working on a variety of water resource and habitat restoration projects in northern California and the Pacific Northwest. The successful candidate will work closely with OEl's Senior Hydrologist to compile, analyze, and interpret a wide variety of GIS and timeseries datasets and develop integrated surface water/groundwater and 2-dimensional hydraulic models to inform habitat restoration planning and design, mitigate flood hazards, evaluate sediment transport processes, and predict climate change impacts.

The position involves independent analytical work with periodic meetings along with field characterization and monitoring tasks; work schedule, office space, and computer hardware/software support to be arranged based on individual needs.
