Aperia is unlocking a new era of efficiency and sustainability for commercial vehicle fleets by developing innovative hardware and data analytics solutions. The Electronics Technician will support Electrical Engineering and Firmware teams in the development, testing, refinement, and sustaining of electronic prototypes and systems.
The role involves assembling and testing prototypes, assisting in PCBA modifications and rework, conducting electrical testing and validation, maintaining lab equipment and calibration, documenting test procedures and results, assisting with automation of tests, supporting the release of engineering change orders, debugging and troubleshooting electronics circuits, and performing on-site visits to install, monitor, maintain, and replace field equipment.
The position requires an associate degree or technical diploma in Electronics, 5+ years of experience in an electronics lab or R&D setting, strong proficiency in soldering and using test equipment, flexibility for field work, familiarity with PCB design tools as a plus, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The position is onsite and does not sponsor H-1B, F-1 OPT, or STEM OPT extension visas.
