Overview

Lead, Finance Systems role at DoorDash. You will lead a small team of finance BSAs that build and maintain the back-end and automations for Finance systems and support Finance systems daily (Coupa, Zip, BREX, IntelAgree, High Radius, IBM TM1, etc.). You will partner with Finance leaders from Procure to Pay, Sourcing and Accounting to build a shared technology roadmap, architect key system components, ensure sustainability, scalability, and quality of engineering efforts, and coach the next generation of Finance BSAs. You will report to the Leader of IT Enterprise App Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of finance BSAs to build and maintain back-end systems and automations for Finance technologies.
• Partner with Finance leaders across Procure to Pay, Sourcing and Accounting to define and execute a shared technology roadmap.
• Architect key components and ensure sustainability, scalability, and quality of engineering efforts.
• Coach and mentor Finance BSAs to develop skills and careers.
• Establish clear, measurable expectations and provide tools and environment to meet them.
• Utilize automation and process optimization to deliver scalable, efficient Finance technology solutions.
• Drive opportunities to apply AI/ML to streamline Finance processes, improve data accuracy, and decision-making.
• Build strong relationships with IT stakeholders by anticipating needs and delivering proactively.
• Support Finance systems daily and coordinate with Internal Audit, AP, Procurement for quarterly SOX audits.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience in Finance systems with 2+ years managing engineering teams.
• Deep experience with Finance systems and integrations (Coupa, BREX, Zip, High Radius, IBM TM1, etc.).
• Experience supporting Direct/Indirect Procurement, AP, AR, Inventory Management, Fixed Assets, and other Finance processes; strongBuild vs Buy perspective.
• ERP finance modules experience including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Costing and Budgets.
• Comfort moving from code reviews to executive presentations; willing to "get hands dirty" when needed.
• Experience managing a remote workforce.
• Modern mindset with hands-on experience applying AI/ML in finance workflows or eagerness to drive these innovations.

Compensation and Benefits

The national base pay range for this position within the United States is $137,400—$202,000 USD, localized by location. In addition to base salary, there are equity opportunities.
