Sr. Product Marketing Manager, Analytics, AWS Marketing

This role sits in the AWS Analytics marketing area and is responsible for defining and driving the marketing strategy for the rapidly growing analytics business. You will create compelling content to help customers understand the use cases and value propositions, and build the right marketing programs to drive customer engagement and service adoption. You will work with engineering teams to shape the product vision and prioritize features, with a big impact on day-to-day activities in a fast-growing business.

This role may sit in Seattle, WA, USA; San Francisco, CA, USA; or Santa Clara, CA, USA. Relocation may be offered to these locations from within the USA only.

Key responsibilities

  • Own messaging and positioning of key AWS analytics services
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to create compelling launch moments
  • Work with business development and specialty sales teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies, including messaging that enables thousands of sellers
  • Create clear, technical marketing content that resonates with both developers and technical decision-makers
  • Engage with analysts and manage relationships with key industry influencers
  • Define and track key business metrics that demonstrate impact
  • Partner with product teams to influence roadmap based on market and customer insights
  • Develop executive-level narratives and presentations for industry events and customer engagements
  • Collaborate across AWS with engineering, marketing, sales, business development, and evangelists to achieve joint goals

About the team

The product marketing team creates compelling positioning and marketing content to support product launches and campaigns that help customers do more with data, analytics, and AI. We focus on measurable impact and execute across strategic plans and detailed deliverables in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience in product marketing/management, technical marketing, or technical pre-sales
  • A Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, technology, or related field OR 7 years demonstrated product marketing in tech industry
  • Demonstrated ability in launching and growing innovative technology products

Preferred Qualifications

  • Domain knowledge on analytics, AI and ML technology
  • Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
  • MBA and/or computer science, engineering, or technology background
