Overview
Director of Platform Engineering at Harvey. Lead Harvey's Core Infrastructure and Enterprise Platform teams. These teams form the foundation that all of our products and internal engineering capabilities are built on, including multi-cloud infrastructure, observability, data pipelines, internal tooling, and product offerings that our champions and buyers depend upon. You will lead a team of ~10 engineers (and growing) in a senior leadership role reporting directly to the VP of Engineering.

What You'll Do
- Define and drive the platform strategy that supports Harvey's rapid growth.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of engineers as the team scales approximately 3x over the next year.
- Drive operational excellence and reliability across a multi-cloud, multi-region architecture.
- Build and evolve internal tooling to enhance developer experience and productivity, empowering product teams.
- Own enterprise features like permissions, reporting, integrations, and APIs that drive customer adoption.
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to align platform initiatives with company goals.
What You Have
- 6+ years of experience in a software engineering management role, leading infrastructure/platform teams.
- Expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP), observability, CI/CD, and platform engineering.
- Proven track record of building highly engaged, high-performing engineering teams with strong talent development experience.
- Experience hiring and growing leaders (managers and senior ICs).
- Strong product and customer focus, balancing technical depth with business impact.
- Experience with enterprise software features like permissions, APIs, integrations, and analytics.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of partnering with product, design, and other engineering leaders.
Compensation
$300,000 - $360,000 USD
