Overview

A stealth-stage team is seeking a Head of Engineering to lead technical development and scale an early product. The role involves setting technical direction, building core systems, and growing a world-class engineering team. Working with VLMs, Diffusion & Foundation Models, and taking the company out of stealth as the team grows from 7 to 50 heads.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and expand a small team of engineers.
• Drive hands-on development of the core platform.
• Define and execute the architectural roadmap.
• Collaborate with leadership on product direction and strategy.
• Translate ambiguous requirements into clear technical plans.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering experience, including shipping production systems.
• Proven experience at early stage start-ups building world-class engineering teams
• Experience or understanding of; VLMs, LLMs, Diffiusion, Foundation Models and/or Computer Vision
