This position will focus on daily operational performance including adherence to Inchcape InControl financial standards, policies, processes, general ledger and treasury activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
To work closely with the General Lead and General Ledger Shared Services team.
Monitor Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) schedules and reconcile against approved budget.
Responsible for recording revenue transactions related to the company's dealership agreement.
Assist the General Ledger Lead with intercompany, OEM for parts, vehicles sales and inventory reconciliations, ensuring all differences are resolved in a timely manner.
Assist the General Ledger Lead's with the bank, cash clearing, and other related treasury reconciliations, ensuring all differences are resolved in a timely manner.
Assist in the preparation of the daily/weekly cash position report.
Prepares all Treasury related reports on the specified deadline.
Provides support to interdepartmental requests related to GL and Treasury
Downloading of daily bank statements and sending out to the shared services team.
Responsible for bank interest and flooring line balances and any other Treasury related functions.
Communicates and main point of contact for banking partners and liaison for group treasury
Perform monthly closing activities related to treasury and general ledger, ensuring all assigned account transactions are accurately recorded
Assist and/or spearhead internal/external audits
Prepares analysis of accounts, as required
Reports to work on time every day as scheduled
Assist the General Ledger Lead with other tasks and projects as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent
Experience
3-5 years' experience in General Ledger/Financial analysis Preferred
