Engineering Manager, Machine Learning at Genies.

The Engineering Manager, Machine Learning will lead a team of machine learning engineers to execute department strategies and achieve key performance metrics. Genies focuses on empowering user generated content through its technology stack, enabling limitless creative experiences and dynamic social gaming ecosystems powered by user-generated content and AI Avatars.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of machine learning engineers to execute department strategies and achieve key performance metrics.


• Guide the professional development of direct reports.


• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models and algorithms.


• Collaborate with other departments to integrate models into products or services.


• Balance hands-on technical work with managerial duties.


• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.


• 8+ years of experience in machine learning or related fields.


• 2+ years in leadership or managerial roles.


• Expertise in ML technologies, data structures, optimization techniques for 3D meshes, deep learning and generative models, NLP and LLM technologies, real-time graphics engines.


• Strong C++ or CUDA skills.


• Knowledge of OpenUSD, Houdini, and shaders is a bonus.
